There should be plenty of goals in Germany this weekend as Dortmund take on Schalke and Werder Bremen meet Wolfsburg; both of which should be classics.
Five cracking bets which should make you a healthy profit in Germany this weekend:
Bayern to maul struggling Cologne
Bayern Munich are a fearsome prospect at any time but they look in especially destructive mood in the Bundesliga at the moment.
The Bavarians have scored 16 goals in their last three games without reply and a team like Cologne are not going to be able to deal with them.
Peter Stoger’s side actually have an impressive defensive record but they do not usually face a team like Bayern and the champions should win this one comfortably with a -2 handicap at 3/4.
Bayern Munich (-2) to win @ 3/4
Expect goals as Dortmund host Schalke
It is a tough one to call between Borussia Dortmund and Schalke on Saturday but we fancy both teams to score at 4/5.
Dortmund are resurgent with three wins on the spin but they have certainly not sorted out their defensive issues; conceding four in their last two victories.
Schalke are not at their best with one win in four but they are still up in fourth and have more than enough to trouble the shaky Dortmund side.
Borussia Dortmund v Schalke both teams to score @ 4/5
Stalemate on the cards between Hoffenheim and Mainz
No team has drawn more games this season than Mainz and we can expect them to pick up another solitary point on the road at Hoffenheim this weekend.
Hoffenheim looked good before the winter break but have struggled since with three defeats and just one win in five since then.
Mainz beat Frankfurt last time out but are still more likely to draw than win or lose with 10 stalemates in 22 games.
These two sides drew 0-0 earlier in the campaign and at 13/5, another level game looks good value.
Hoffenheim v Mainz Draw @ 13/5
Leaky Paderborn have little chance at Gladbach
Borussia M’gladbach are enjoying a successful season built on a rock solid defence. They have conceded just 18 times in 22 games which has seen them take up third spot in the Bundesliga.
The same cannot be said about Paderborn who have the worst goal difference in the division.
Paderborn were battered last time out by Bayern and have won just once in their last 12 Bundesliga outings. Away to one of the sturdiest teams in the league, their chances do not look good.
Borussia M’gladbach to win @ 11/20
Werder and Wolfsburg could serve up a classic
Two of the form teams in Europe clash on Sunday as Werder Bremen take on Wolfsburg, neither of whom have lost a game in 2015 yet.
Werder started the season pretty badly but five wins and a draw in their last six now has them looking up rather than down.
The Wolves have been excellent all season and have already cemented second place in the Bundesliga.
With both scoring plenty and playing superbly we can expect goals in this one as well with both to strike at 1/2.
Werder Bremen v Wolfsburg both teams to score @ 1/2
A £10 five-fold on these bets pays approx. £263.65
